This applies for quick, single jaw treatment, where only a single set of up to SEVEN aligners would be needed for minor movements.
This type of case accounts for less than 5% of all Invisalign cases seen at Kenilworth Dental Practice.
Single jaw treatments are rare and only carried out if this is achievable clinically.
£3,920 for ‘Average’ treatment.
These cases involve both upper and lower jaws and take longer because the teeth movements required might be more challenging.
Cases in this category account for the vast majority, around 80%, of all the Invisalign® cases we see. To achieve straight teeth a total of two sets of aligners are typically needed in the end for these cases.
So, if a final, second set of aligners are needed, you won’t pay any extra as we automatically include it in the sale price for this category.
Treatment time in total would be expected to be around 18 months, depending on the degree of crowding (how crooked the teeth are).

£4,495 for Complex treatment.
These cases are for slightly more complex treatment on both jaws, and will require at least 2 sets of aligners (sometimes rarely a final third set of aligners) to achieve straight teeth.
Treatment time would typically be at least 18 months or more.
If or when needed, a maximum of up to three additional sets of aligners are automatically included in the sale price for this category, so you won’t pay any extra.

Futuristic Teeth Straightening!
Invisalign® is a virtually invisible teeth straightening system that originated in California and amazingly, has already been in existence for over 30 years.
So far, up to April 2026, over 21 million people worldwide have been successfully treated with Invisalign®.

The ‘Nearly Invisible Aligners’
The aligners themselves are thin, transparent and removable. As they’re hardly noticeable, this makes Invisalign the most discrete and the most popular orthodontic solution in the world.
The aligners are worn over your own teeth all the time, except when you’re eating, drinking or brushing your teeth.
Because they’re worn in a sequence, each aligner thus gently moves your teeth into the next predicted position until they’re eventually straight.
Every 2 weeks precisely, you would change to the next aligner in your unique pre-determined sequence. Don’t worry-This doesn’t mean that you need to see us every 2 weeks for an appointment however!
For example, you might be given 7 or 8 aligners at a time (or possibly more) by Dr. Kachhala. Using this example, you would only need to attend for a review appointment approximately every 14-16 weeks respectively, once actual treatment begins.
At each review appointment we check that the teeth are tracking and we provide the next batch of aligners in your unique sequence.
The aligners are quite thin and our feedback consistently shows that patients don’t really notice them while they’re in.
There is also no pain as each aligner only applies a very subtle pressure to get the teeth to move. The Invisalign® system is very much designed to be gentle enough to fit around busy modern lifestyles and to be comfortable rather than a daily hindrance or distraction.
Treatment typically takes between 9 to 12 months depending on the complexity of your case. The more complex, the more aligners that will be needed and the longer the treatment-everybody’s case is different. A detailed 2 hour clinical consultation is first needed so that we can look at your individual case in more detail before a final price can be confirmed with you.

Fixed retainers are different to removable retainers.

Step 2: Clinical Assessment & Consultation
After initially speaking with our patient coordinator at Step One (see above), if you’re ready to begin your Invisalign® journey you’ll be invited for a (pre-paid) clinical consultation experience at Step Two.
This is a relaxed, leisurely and informal experience which allows us to find out more about you as a person as well as your needs.
Our feedback shows that the assessment experience itself is thorough, very popular and highly valued.
A lot of information will be discussed, all your questions will be answered and, of course, there will also be a detailed clinical assessment of your mouth.
The entire experience including a short break, and will take around 3 hours (we said it’s thorough!).

At this stage, we’ll also provide a transparent and easily understood breakdown of how much your treatment will cost, and we’ll explain your potential payment options.
Step 3: ‘Records’ Appointment
If you decide to proceed with Invisalign® teeth straightening, the next step is for us to take accurate clinical digital photographs and accurate digital impressions of your upper and lower teeth.
This information is encrypted and sent to the Invisalign® facility in the USA, which enables Arjun to develop the 3D simulation of how he’ll move your teeth into their final positions.
The digital impressions are most often taken at Step One (patient coordinator chat) or Step Two (clinical assessment appointment) if you already know you’re ready to proceed.
Step 4 (after 2-3 weeks): View your 3D Simulation!
Arjun will invite you back into the practice approximately 2-3 weeks after Step Two (or Step Three), so that you can view your personal ClinCheck® 3D simulation.
This is your virtual treatment plan; it’s always an exciting, emotional moment because you’ll see how we expect your treatment to progress with each aligner and where the final positions of your teeth should eventually be.
At this stage, we’ll also have a clear idea of how many aligners you’ll need in total.
Dr Kachhala will have spent a considerable amount of time measuring and modifying your virtual treatment plan by this appointment, to ensure that the 3D simulation reflects what can be achieved in reality.
You’ll also have another opportunity to discuss or ask any further questions at this appointment.
Once you confirm that you’re happy to proceed, we’ll confirm manufacture of the custom-made aligners. You’ll only be a few weeks away from beginning your treatment!
Invisalign® manufactures your aligners:
Once you approve your virtual 3D plan, we’ll order your aligners.
Invisalign® uses the approved 3D plan to manufacture the custom-made series of clear, removable aligners.
The aligner manufacture and shipping process takes up to 2-3 weeks (shipped from the USA).
Step 5 (2-3 weeks after Step Four): Your Straightening Begins!
Once we receive your aligners from Invisalign® your treatment can begin.
We’ll fit the initial aligner and demonstrate how it should be looked after, as well as discussing wear time and other steps that you should take to maximise the predictability of your orthodontic treatment.
You’ll be given the first batch of aligners, so that you can change them every one to two weeks without needing to attend the practice.
Dr Kachhala will want to see you for a regular progress check-up every 6-10 weeks on average so that he can ensure that your treatment is closely following the 3D simulation and that your teeth are tracking as they should.
…And after an average 6-12 months: A Straighter, more Confident Smile!
After 6-12 months (average) you’ve finished your treatment!
Once you’ve finished wearing each aligner in the series and you and Dr Kachhala are both happy with the outcome, your treatment will be complete.
